Cuffaro Selected to Nacha Govt Relations Advisory Group

Christopher Cuffaro Selected to Serve on Nacha Government Relations Advisory Group
At First Internation Bank & Trust (FIBT) and Kotapay, staying connected to the conversations shaping payments is an important part of serving our clients and partners. Christopher Cuffaro, Business Development Specialist with FIBT, has been selected to serve on Nacha’s Government Relations Advisory Group (GRAG) for the 2027-2028 term.
The group brings payments professionals together to help Nacha develop positions on payments-system issues and provide industry perspectives on matters involving regulators, congressional committees, members of Congress, and their staff. GRAG also assists in reviewing materials such as congressional testimony, requests for comments, and statements for the record.
For Christopher, the opportunity builds on decades of experience in the payments industry. He has held his Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) accreditation through Nacha for more than 20 years and is also a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). “I’m honored to have the opportunity to participate and proud that First International Bank & Trust will have representation in the group,” Christopher said. “It’s exciting to have a seat at the table alongside payments professionals from across the country as important issues affecting the ACH Network are discussed.”
Christopher’s expertise is also part of a larger commitment to payments knowledge across FIBT and Kotapay. Five additional members of the Kotapay team hold the AAP accreditation, bringing specialized ACH expertise to the work we do every day. Christopher’s selection to GRAG is another opportunity to bring that experience into the broader payments conversation while staying connected to issues affecting the ACH Network and the organizations that rely on it. Congratulations, Christopher!
